Hi, and thank you for being here.
My name is Mack, and I started The Pilates University because I kept seeing the same thing happen to good teachers. You finish your training, you fall in love with the work, and then you are mostly on your own. Finding classes to cover, learning a new apparatus, meeting other teachers, keeping up with the business side of all of it. Most of that happens through scattered group chats and word of mouth. I wanted to build one place where the whole community could actually find each other.
That is what this platform is. It is part library, part network, and part home base for Pilates professionals. We launched in Tampa Bay, but this is built for teachers and studios everywhere, from Miami to New York to San Diego and beyond.
Here is how I hope you will use it.
If you are an instructor, this is your space. Fill out your profile so studio owners can find you when they need a sub or a new teacher. Browse the library for class plans, flows, and continuing education. Use the network to meet other teachers in your city and in the cities you travel to. And use this blog. Share a flow you love. Write about a studio that treated you well. Tell us what you are hoping to learn next. The more honest and generous we are with each other, the stronger we all become.
If you are a studio owner, you have your own set of tools. Post a job and find qualified instructors quickly. Search teacher availability so you are never scrambling to cover a class. Share your events with the community. When you take care of the teachers around you, word travels, and good people want to work with you.
I built this because I believe the Pilates community is at its best when we are connected. When a teacher in one studio can learn from a teacher in another. When a studio owner can find help without the last minute panic. When someone new to this work can see a clear path forward instead of guessing. None of us got into Pilates to feel alone in it.
So welcome. Set up your profile, look around, and say hello. I read everything that comes through here, and I am genuinely excited to build this alongside you.
Thank you for being one of the first.
