Great instructors don't just know the exercises—they know how to communicate them. This workshop is designed to elevate the way you cue, helping you deliver clear, intentional instruction that keeps your classes flowing while creating better movement for your clients.
Learn how to eliminate filler words, avoid over-explaining, and give cues that clients immediately understand and can apply. We'll break down how to layer your verbal cues for different learning styles, helping clients connect with the movement instead of feeling overwhelmed by information.
We'll also dive into tactile cueing and hands-on adjustments, including when to use them, where to place your hands, and how to make each touch purposeful. Thoughtful tactile cueing can improve alignment, create deeper muscle activation, and help clients experience movements in a way words alone often can't.
Whether you're a new instructor or have years of teaching experience, you'll leave with practical cueing strategies you can implement in your very next class. Expect smoother transitions, more engaged clients, and a dramatic improvement in the quality of your teaching.
This is a hands-on, in-person session in a small group, so there's room to ask the questions you actually run into with your own clients. Come from any certification background — the tools you leave with work in a mat class, on the reformer, and in private sessions.
